CAVA offers several membership options designed for voice actors and professionals connected to the voiceover industry. Whether you are an established voice actor, transitioning into the field, or part of the broader voiceover ecosystem, there is a place for you in the CAVA community.

Choose Your Membership

CAVA currently offers three membership options designed to reflect different roles within the voiceover industry.

  • VO Professional Member

    $100 Every year

    For working voice actors who meet CAVA’s professional voiceover eligibility requirements.

    • Full Voting Rights
    • Participation in networking, education, and advocacy events
    • Access to all CAVA member benefits and programming
    • Discounts for Canadian products and services
    • Eligible to serve on the Board of Directors

  • Associate Member

    $100 Every year

    For established professionals in related fields who are transitioning into voiceover but do not yet meet the criteria for VO Professional membership.

    • Full Voting Rights
    • Participation in networking, education, and advocacy events
    • Access to CAVA programs and community initiatives
    • Eligibility to upgrade to Professional once criteria is met
    • Associate Members are not eligible to serve on the Board

  • Corporate / Industry Partner Member

    $250 Every year

    For organizations and professionals who work within the voiceover industry and wish to support CAVA’s mission and community.

    • Full Voting Rights
    • Participation in industry networking events
    • Invitations to panels, discussions and industry roundtables
    • Recognition on the CAVA website and promotional materials
    • Opportunities to collaborate on initiatives supporting VO

VO Professional Member Eligibility:

Applicants must provide 2-3 publicly accessible links that demonstrate current professional voiceover activity, such as:

  • A voiceover website
  • An IMDb page
  • A casting platform profile (Voice123, Voices, Bodalgo, Fiverr, etc.)
  • A professional LinkedIn profile or voice actor social media presence
  • Other publicly accessible links demonstrating voiceover work

Associate Member Eligibility:

  • Film, television, or stage actors
  • Singers or musical theatre performers
  • Broadcasters and journalists
  • Comedians, improvisers, or presenters
  • Digital creators with professional production exp

Applicants must provide 1-2 examples that demonstrate current professional activity, such as:

  • Union or professional association membership
  • A professional website or portfolio
  • Letter of recommendation from an industry professional

Corporate / Industry Partner Member Eligibility:

  • Casting directors
  • Producers
  • Studio owners and engineers
  • Audio production companies
  • Advertising agencies
  • Technology platforms serving voice talent

Corporate/Industry Partner Members are not eligible to serve on the Board of Directors
